Thereafter...a western Atlantic ridge will drop southward and near our region Friday and Saturday. The approximate shoreward edge of the Gulf Stream as of may 12... 40 nm south of of Dry Tortugas light...on Loggerhead Key. 11 nm south of Cosgrove Shoal light...off the Marquesas Keys. 7 nm south of Sand Key light...off Key West. 8 nm south of Looe Key...off Big Pine Key. 15 nm south of Sombrero Key light...off Marathon. 17 nm southeast of Alligator Reef light...off Islamorada. 12 nm southeast of Molasses Reef light...off Key Largo. 9 nm east of Carysfort Reef light...off Ocean Reef. Northeast winds near 10 knots...becoming northeast to east and increasing to near 15 knots and gusty. Seas beyond the reef 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet. Seas higher in the Gulf Stream. Seas inside the reef around 1 foot...building to around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a light chop...becoming a moderate chop. Isolated showers developing late.

Wednesday And Wednesday Night

East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas beyond the reef 4 to 6 feet...except higher in the Gulf Stream. Seas inside the reef 2 to 3 feet. Nearshore waters choppy. Isolated showers.

Thursday

East to southeast winds near 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef 3 to 5 feet. Seas inside the reef around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Isolated showers.

Friday And Saturday

Southeast to south winds near 10 knots. Seas beyond the reef 2 to 3 feet. Seas inside the reef around 1 foot. Nearshore waters a light chop. Isolated showers.
